This model is a limited run from the ex-Strombecker molds, which was a very nicely detailed model for that time. Never started. The gray plastic parts are still in the factory sealed bag. The clear part were not sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes instructions. Includes decals but NOTE: decals are heavily water damaged and cannot be used. These flying boats established routes to China in the late 1930s. Those who could afford to fly them did so in luxury that is unheard of in air travel today.

Classic Cold War Airliner kit from the late 1960s or very early 1970s. Very large 1/100 scale kit of the world's first SST is molded in gloss ivory, clear, black & silver and with colorful Aeroflot decals. This impressive model that features optional position nose for visibility at high angle of attack approaches, clear cabin and cockpit windows, detailed landing gear and more. Although the USSR manufacture Yunyj Tyechinik issued their own 1/100 Tu-144, KVZ created an entirely different set of (superior) molds for their release.

Hard-to-find Soviet Tri-Jet design in Cold War Aeroflot markings. The box is in in 'excellent' condition which is rare. Features large colorful decal sheet and good overall surface detail. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. KVZ was the name used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Airliners and Military Helicopters and Aircraft.

Ex-DDR kit, most likely from the 1970s. For a KVZ kit, it is very well molded with fine raised panel lines and 'good' detail. Features dark gloss green, gloss black and white plastic, superbly clear canopies & windows, a display stand, full decals and instructions in many languages including English. Never started and complete with all parts and paperwork present. KVZ manufactured kits in the former East Germany during the Cold War. Although well known for their airliners, they made some military aircraft and helicopters as well.

This large scale model dated 1987 and is from the original 1950s molds. Features fine raised surface detail, counter-rotating propellers, pilot figure and boarding ladder. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Convair VTO was a Navy program for a high performance zero-length take off fighter. The aircraft flew well but transition from vertical/horizontal and back was tricky. This, combined with the performance of the new jets signaled the end of the program in 1955.
