Well detailed for that time with fine raised and recessed surface detail, pilot figure, optional parts for wheels, floats or skis, two piece canopy and more. Includes large, multi-view paint guides and extensive decals for both airplanes listed. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions present. The Auster Antarctic was a specially modified aircraft supplied to the Antarctic expedition. It has additional fuel capacity and more elaborate radio and DF equipment. The Auster was first introduced during WWII as an artillery observation and liaison aircraft. Since that time it was progressively developed for both military and civil use. The ability for short field operation and use with wheels, skis or floats made it very popular at the time.

Still factory sealed but the seal has shrunk and drawn the box top concave as shown. This is the 1967 release with John Andrews artwork. The model is completely metal plated and features realistic matte and gloss panel variations. This is a well detailed kit for that time and it features excellent fit & finish, drop tanks, under-wing 5" rockets, pilot figure, optional position canopy and more.

Limited release model that features fine, recessed panel lines, film instruments and many brass photoetched parts. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. A total of 125 Glen submarine-based seaplanes were built between 1941 and 1943, when they were replaced by the Aichi M6A1 Seiran. The first operational Glen mission was on December 17, 1941 when I-7 launched her aircraft for a dawn reconnaissance over Pearl Harbor to assess the damage done in the December 7th attack. In September of 1942, Warrant Officer Fujita took off in his Glen from I-25 and became the only aircraft to ever bomb the continental United States when he dropped phosphorus bombs in two attacks on the Oregon coast. Decals for both of these aircraft are included.

Very hard-to-find large model kit of this Soviet Early Warning Aircraft based on the An-72. NATO codenamed 'Madcap', it had the ability to detect enemy emissions at very long ranges, classify the signals, plot the coordinates of the emitters and simultaneously track 120 low-flying, low-contrast targets.
