Very Rare. This is a highly prefabricated sailplane model that includes a Plura plastic fuselage with all necessary holes for the horizontal fin precision factory made, profiled tailplane panels, slotted for pivot tubes, profiled all-balsa rudder, all balsa wings of 'Jedelsky' construction with all parts accurately profiled and die-cut (no covering material need), all wing joiner parts and brass joiner tubes, extensive R/C hardware packet, lightweight vacuform canopy and much more. Includes color decals (factory mounted to the underside of the box top with red 'Robbe' tape, extensive full-size plans and a large instruction book in four languages including English. Never started. Inside, the kit is exactly as it left the factory. Robbe sealed every small part in clear bags; and put the larger parts in open clear bags. The only parts not in factory bags are some of the larger balsa and lite-ply diecut sheets and the wooden strip stock (which is still sealed together with Robbe red tape). Includes all paperwork.

Inventoried and NOTE: missing cockpit floor, (2) seats, instrument panel and control sticks. Otherwise complete and includes decals and instructions. Nicely detailed model from 1979 that includes parts for all versions - civil Lufthansa South Atlantic Mail Service 1938 and two Luftwaffe aircraft. Includes color painting guide (on the back of the box and decals for all three also. Lufthansa was a pioneer in trans-oceanic mail services and the Do-15 and Do-18 grew to fit this need. Given the German interests in South America, it was no surprise that they established one of the first airmail services between Europe and that continent. This kit will build one of those aircraft, the Lufthansa South Atlantic Mail Aircraft (1938) D-AANE 'Zyklon' or the military version. The Do-18 was an improved D0-15 'Wal' and set several records during its long useful life.

Still factory sealed. Rare large scale version. 1987 first and only issue of Monogram's rather costly blunder. 'Stealth' was on everyone's lips in those years and several model companies took a stab at what the plane might look like. Monogram's kit was quite off the mark and was quickly discontinued when the real aircraft was shown to the public.

First issue hardbox is dated 1959. This is a long-time favorite in the Monogram 1/48 WWII aircraft line because of superb fit and finish, the gloss dark blue and black plastic, the realistic appearance and all those wonderful "ACTION!" features. Includes operating dive brakes, trigger released center bomb, retracting/extending landing gear, removable rear canopy, rear machine gun that elevates and rotates, pilot and gunner figure and also includes figures of the LSO (landing signal officer) & armorer, 4 bombs, bomb cart, and LSO wind screen. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box has great color & gloss, four solid corners and little wear; however, the seal was on this box until fairly recently and it drew the box top slightly concave.

Very well detailed with 175 parts and molded in light gray and clear. Features clear port fuselage half that shows the interior detail of the cockpit, bomb bay, navigators station, radio operator, gunner and bombardier stations. If you do not want to use the clear fuselage, there is also a 'solid' colored port half.

Dated 1955 and the 2nd issue of this classic model. The box is in amazing, investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. The box has factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape or tags, no marks from tape or tags, no fading, stains or litho damage. The only flaws are very light wear. Kit features rotating wheels and propellers, side gun packs and cannon/machine gun nose, crew members, underwing rockets and boarding ladder. Molded in silver and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals are 'excellent+' and the instructions are 'very good+'. This is a later 2nd issue with silver plastic main gear tires (not rubber ones).
