The kit is molded in the correct silver plastic with a clear canopy and correct early. two-piece clear Airfix 'teardrop-base' stand. Airfix's first logo for plastic models is known among collectors as the 'Type One' or 'T1' logo and was used for short time in the 1950s and occasionally in the very early 1960s.

First issue of this rare model from 1956. The fantastic 'S' box art is one of the reasons that Revell models of this time are considered the pinnacle of box artwork and are valued collectibles today. The 'S' hardbox is dated 1956 and in 'Excellent+' condition. This is a fine model for that time and features very fine raised surface detail, clear cockpit, nose, tail guner & astrodome windows, three twin gun turrets, detailed main landing gear & wing tip outriggers and more. Includes Revell's famous clear 'Swivel Base Display Stand.' The kit is molded in the correct gloss dark green. Inside, the kit is as it left the factory. It has never never been started. Original issue from 1956. Hardbox artwork has superb colors and gloss, four perfect corners, no tears or missing litho, no price tags, no tape other than the factory sealing tape and no fading. The flaws are light edge wear on the left side and a small bit of wear at the upper right as shown. Molded in the correctly gloss silver and clear and with the famous Revell clear 'Globe' base. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals are in 'excellent++' condition and the instructions are 'very good++' with typical yellowing and a several tiny edge chips.

Factory sealed and in investment-grade 'Near Mint+' condition. This is the second issue from 1966 with 'PA' number and price extension...and no Mattel logos. Well detailed model builds one of four variants: NF II Night Fighter, MK. IV Day Bomber, FB VI Fighter Bomber and Mosquito II Night Intruder. That's not a price tag on the box top; it was applied by the original store that sold the kit but it says "Boxed And Guaranteed By The Maker Only." It was unique enough that I am leaving it on. If you don't like it, you can remove it by soaking it in lighter fluid then carefully peeling it off.
