Very rare kit from the 1944. This is a very sturdy stick and tissue model that is designed to fly any one of four ways - rubber powered free flight, Class A gas motor, control line or tether. If you have the know-how and equipment, it is an ideal conversation to electric power & R/C. The model features quality printwood balsa in different thicknesses as required, balsa sheetwood, factory-cut spars and stringers, balsa propeller blades, fully finished wheels, balsa block & stock as required, round metal stock and ample covering tissue in three colors. Includes superb plans with full size build-on-plan drawing, numerous detail drawings with text instructions, details on motor mounting & working control surfaces, step-by-step text instructions with illustrations and more. Also includes balance and flying notes. The plans are in 'very good++' condition with yellowing to the top panels. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts described and paperwork included. The Eagle Model Aircraft Company of Brooklyn, NY was one of over 2000 manufacturers during the 'Golden Age' of flying models in the 1930s/1940s. Eagle kits were fairly deluxe compared to their contemporaries. There was an extensive line of kits in all sizes.

Factory sealed and in investment-grade 'Near Mint++' condition. This 1960s issue has fantastic John Steel artwork and is one of the famous Aurora WWI series of 1/48 scale aircraft. The series began in 1956 and Aurora added new kits into the early 1960s. The line proved incredibly popular, so many of these kits were included in the 'mold upgrade' in the 1970s before Aurora went out of business.
