Includes the factory-sealed Eduard 48-236 P-47N Detail Set designed for this kit; includes two big frets, dozens of parts and full instructions. The actual kit is still factory sealed. 1994 issue that is the is the superb Pro Modeler release. This model is from completely new molds (not the old Monogram P-47). Features all fine recessed panel lines, excellent cockpit, pilot figure, optional position canopy, detailed gear wells and full engine, clear wingtip navigation lights, a nice selection of weapons including drop tanks, bombs and rockets and very colorful decals for the two aircraft listed.

First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. This logo only appeared for one year. In 1957 it was replaced with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' Sunburst logo. The artwork is by Jim Cox. This kit was one of a very famous line of 1/48 scale WWI aircraft kits introduced by Aurora at this time. Due to the popularity, subjects were still being released into the 1960s. Molded in glossy olive green and black. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

1957 first issue in fantastic 'Excellent++' condition. The box has perfect color and gloss and four solid corners. The only flaws are very light and isolated age foxing and light wear. This issue has dramatic Jo Kotula artwork and is molded in the correct gloss olive green and black. Inside, the kit has never been started. It still includes the factory packing tissue.
