Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG
$32
1975 issue. This is the original Monogram Four Star TWA Connie kit from 1957 with MATS markings. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good-
$34
Still the only injection-molded kit of the early Flashlight 'A' variant. Features fine recessed surface detail, 'good' cockpit, full landing gear and more. Includes paint guide and decals for both kits listed. That said, this is a very basic kit and requires certain modeling skills. Never started. The parts are either inventoried complete or still in the internal factory sealed bag. Includes decals and instructions. The box side shows that the company did some good homework on this aircraft and a very nice history of the Yak-25 is included. There was some confusion in the translation as that state that in the specifications for the Yak-25 that "The new plane had to be present in the combat area for a long time and it had to be able to destroy the forget in the day or at night, under all weather conditions." Hopefully it could also destroy the forget at dawn or dusk.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed NM+
$36

Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: NM+

Ross Abare issue Gotha in amazing investment-grade, 'Near Mint' condition. Mr. Abare, a rare kits dealer in the earliest days of the hobby, contracted with Aurora to produce a copy of the original 1958 kit. However, Aurora had the printers use the mid 1960s oval logo without the 'Famous Fighters' in the border- thus forever separating the Abare issue from the original issue. Mr. Abare was reportedly quite upset, as he wanted exact copies. Molded in deep burgundy and black plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG++
$89
Rare. Very nicely molded kit that is quite large even in 1/144 scale. Features all recessed panel lines, some cockpit detail, full landing gear, separately molded rudder, rotating propellers, FICON conversion parts and trapeze, scale F-84 and scale XF-85. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good-
$42
Very high quality kit with legendary LS attention to detail. The kit is engineered for two electric motors that drive the propellers. Please note that LS did not include them with they kit; they always had to be purchased separately . The batteries are held in a cleverly designed 1/72 scale fuel truck. Features all fine recessed panel lines, excellent cockpit and crew station detail with crew, rotating turret with elevating gun, working bomb bay doors, full bomb load, ground bomb cart, working crew entry door, working 'slide-out' style trailing edge wing flaps and ailerons, retractable main and tail wheel landing gear with operating gear doors, rotating wheels & propellers, ground crew, wheel chocks and more. Includes beautiful, large full color painting and marking guide for 8 aircraft and a detailed, full-color cut-away lithograph for more fuselage interior detail. The model as never been started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bags with colorful LS paper headers and includes decals and instructions. The fact that Hasegawa still uses some LS molds testifies to their detail and accuracy.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed NM+
$38
Still factory sealed and in investment-grade 'Near Mint+' box condition. This 1981 issue is before the UPC code was put on the box top. It includes decals for both versions and features a detailed cockpit, optional position engine exhaust nozzles, opened or closed speed brake, optional position canopy, detailed gear bays, underwing stores, optional refueling probe and more.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
$39
1970s issue from the quality Airfix B-24J molds. The decals are for a ship from 392nd that was lost in action over Germany on April 11, 1944. Well detailed and features elevating guns, rotating turrets, movable control surfaces, retracting landing gear, rotating propellers, optional position crew entry door, boarding ladder, crew members and more. This special issue includes the MPC Modular Display Stand, four optional clear propeller disks for the 'engines running' look and a large decal sheet with marking for the box art aircraft and a 'custom' version. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bag and decals and instructions are included. The decals are in remarkable 'near mint ++' condition which is rare for MPC kits of this era.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc++
$245
Original issue hardbox dated 1969 and in remarkable 'Excellent++' condition. This kit was originally designed as a gas powered flying model. However, Aurora discontinued the gas powered line very shortly after introduction due to returns and liability issues. Since the mold investment was already made, Aurora marketed these kits as large scale static models and they became know as "Screwdriver Kits" to collectors. For example, the 1/32 scale B-25 was issued in Gas U-Control and then static - but the P-51 may have only been issued in static. Molded in dark blue, light blue and clear & with many metal parts and even includes it's own screwdriver so you didn't have to ask Dad to borrow his. Never started. The metal parts are still factory sealed in the original 'krinkle' bag. All other parts have been inventoried 100% complete. Includes decals in superb 'Near Ming' condition and instructions are 'Near Mint+.' The original factory screwdriver has the correct clear yellow handle.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Exc+++
$165
Still factory sealed and in a 'Excellent+++' box. The seal has two small splits and is missing a section on the left short side. The box certainly displays 'Near Mint+' but is graded lower because there is a small, short puncture near the bottom of the top long side. This is the rare 1960s issue retaining the same artwork as the 1956 issue. This kit has arguably the most dramatic and fanciful B-29 artwork from the 'Golden Era' of modeling. Responding to market information that boys wanted larger kits, Aurora introduced the B-26 followed by the B-29 and B-25, all of which sold well for many years. This is likely the 5th issue and the final one with the original artwork (I believe the 6th issue is the 'AURORA' logo issue with the red/orange sky). Note here that the rectangle 'Northern Lights' logo has been replaced with the Aurora sunburst oval logo, hence the yellow background.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc+
$145
Rare and dated 1961. This issue has the oval 'sunburst' logo, so the actual issue date is around 1963 to 1965. The hardbox has excellent color and gloss, four solid corners, no fading or tears, no repairs and no price tags or tape (other than the factory sealing tape). Light general wear/scuffing as shown are the only flaws. The kit is molded in olive drab and clear and contains the correct Aurora 'world' triangle stand. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The instructions and decals are both in 'excellent++' condition with yellowing as the only flaw.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG

This classic model has many action features including moving ailerons and elevators, rotating turrets with elevating guns, rotating wheels & propellers, optional position landing gear, 5 aircrew and more. 1973 reissue of the 'Four Star' kit from 1958. This is one of two known artwork layout variations and the rarer of both. Molded in dark navy blue and clear plastic. Decals and instructions are both in 'excellent++' condition but please NOTE: that the box tray (lower box) has wear and tape.
