The sound realistically simulates 6 phases of flight - start up, idling, warming up, test running, sortie and returning to base with shutdown. Incluedes all special parts required except batteries. The actual Zero model is the 2001 issue of one of the finest kits available of any subject. Very highly detailed and finely molded. Includes canopy masks, grooved rubber tires, metal hinges and photoetched details. There are decals for three different aircraft. This first issue from 1956 has beautiful artwork and it's easy to see how Revell 'S' kits are considered the pinnacle of model kit box art and are so valued today. This hardbox has superb colors and gloss, four perfect corners, no tears or missing litho and no fading. Light general wear and clear tape remains at the center of the two long sides are the only significant flaws. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear plastic and includes the famous Revell clear 'Globe' Swivel display stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The decals are perfectly flat and 100% intact but please NOTE that they have some typical age micro-cracking and several very light brown spots on the backing paper.

Rare, true second issue from 1955. Few people (including me) knew that there was a second release of P6-98 that varied significantly from the first issue. The true first issue has a part number of 'P6-98', early 'Four Star Plastikit' logo, black rubber main gear tires and no support peg to keep it from being a 'tail sitter' when assembled. The second issue (this kit) has the same part number, identical 'Four Star Plastikit' logo but has regular injection molded (silver) tires and a peg to keep the nose gear grounded. The instructions show these changes are are numbered P6, as are the decals. Molded in correct gloss silver and clear plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. (In the past it was believed that the second issue was 'PA6-98' with a modified box top logo. This is now known to be the third issue.)
