This kit is part of an early effort in the 1970s by AMT to market quality Hasegawa kits in the USA. Hasegawa made the kits and decals in Japan and shipped them to AMT, who supplied the boxes and marketing. Has markings for both natural finish high-visibility and camo aircraft specifically from Vietnam. Optional position landing gear and canopy. Includes drop tanks. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are flat and intact but NOTE: the are starting to lift and peel. You will need to scan and create new ones or get aftermarket decals.

1960s issue with the famous 'Airfix -72' logo. This is the RAF Military version of the very poplar business jet. Appears to be an early variant, perhaps the 1A or at the latest a 400 series. Can easily be built to business aircraft configuration if you supply your own decals and eliminate some of the small antenna. Features cockpit detail and crew, optional position main and emergency doors, separately molded elevators and ailerons and optional position landing gear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Type three logo issue from the 1960s. This model features movable control surfaces, opened or closed bomb bay with bombs, full crew and optional position undercarriage. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Hampdens, along with Whitley and Wellingtons, formed the RAF's Heavy Bomber force at the outbreak of WWII. Dusty Rhodes provided more information on the box art aircraft - Hampden AE240 took off from RAF Scampton at 1443 hours on the 12th February 1942, detailed to attack the German battleships Scharnhorst and Gneisenau in the English Channel. Nothing was heard from the aircraft after take off and the aircraft and crew disappeared without trace. The Squadron lost 4 aircraft on this mission.

SALE!! Includes two model kits. Kit #1 is the Testors issue. It is never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Kit #2 is the Airfix issue and it has never been started, inventoried with all parts & instructions present but NOTE: missing decals. These are well detailed and finely molded kits that features complete cockpit, full interior with floor & benches, optional position boarding doors with stairs and more. The Horsa was perhaps the most advanced glider built during WWII. It had full instrumentation, power operated flaps and brakes and a powered device for jettisoning the landing gear upon touchdown. The Horsa MkI carrier troops while the MkII carried vehicles which loaded through the swing nose and unloaded from an explosively-released rear fuselage after landing. Gliders carried in 20% of the reinforcements and supplies for D-Day, and most were Horsas. They also saw action against the German Heavy Water (Atomic Bomb) plants in Norway and targets in Sicily, Arnhem and the Rhine.

Rare kit from 1959 and the only aircraft model ever made by Adams. This was a fantastic kit for the time and features very fine raised panel lines with recessed control surface outlines, retractable landing gear, pilot & ejection seat, opening canopy and missiles that actually launch from the central pod. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Adams was founded by Steve Adams and released plastic assembly kits in the late 1950s. The company was innovative and the general quality of most kits was very high for the time- so much that builders (not just collectors) still seek the kits today. Adams is best known today for a series of military vehicles and missiles, although they also released an aircraft (Draken), helicopter (YH-41), balloon (La Coquette) and ship (SS Savannah). Some of these appeared in gift sets as well. The Adams smaller scale (1/40) Atomic Cannon, Hawk Missile Battery, Honest John, Vanguard (1/80) and Thor (1/87)missiles and other kits are still sought after today. Combinations of these kits were issued in gift sets, which are very desirable collector's items today. In the late 1950s, Adams entered into a joint venture with Revell, and several of the military kits were released under the Revell label, such as the Jeep among others. Around 1960 there was a disagreement between Adams and Revell, and the agreement was terminated. Sometime after this, Adams quit the plastic model business, and Life-Like purchased most of the Adams molds.
