First issue dated 1956 with the incredible artwork that has made these kits so famous and valuable. The box is in amazing "Near Mint-" condition with perfect color and gloss. The only things keeping it from being mint are a tiny crease at the lower left (not even visible in the photo) and short, closed tears on the long box sides at the factory sealing tape. Features folding wings and horizontal stabilizer, rotating and elevating rear gun turret, optional position landing gear, speed brakes & escape hatch, three crew figures and more. Includes the famous clear Revell 'Globe' stand. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Instructions and decals are in 'excellent++' condition also with very light yellowing as the only flaw.

Rare. Based on the 1950s Yak-25 "S" kit, the Flashlight Whip Fly comes with USSR decals, flight ballast, handle, 12 feet of control line, control ring, colorful streamers for the jet engines and a underside pod which is a in-flight whistle! Never started. All parts and all paperwork are still in the factory sealed bag. The long side of the box shows the complete Whip-Fly series with the action box art, which includes H151 F9F-8 Cougar, H152 F-84F, H153 F-89D Scorpion, H154 F8U-1 Crusader, H155 F-39 Airacobra and H156 F-101A Voodoo. Although not listed yet, there was also a Whip-Fly Canberra, F-106 and Yak-25 Flashlight. The Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. Revell quickly realized that spinning heavily-ballasted, sharp objects at dizzying speeds in or outside the home near groups of children was not the best idea. The series was quickly discontinued.

Includes the excellent ESCI B-25 1/72 scale decal sheet that is never used and complete. With full color painting guide for four aircraft including Lt Col James Doolittle's aircraft from the 1942 Tokyo Raid and many others. The actual kit is from 1975 and features parts and decals for three versions - B-25J "Lady Luck", B-25J Modified Gun Nose and B-25H "Norma Sue". Has many working features and details: gun elevate and turrets turn, full crew and very good interior, opening bomb bay doors, opening fore and aft boarding doors with optional ladders, rotating wheels and props and moving control surfaces. Dated 1960. The box is in beautiful 'Excellent++' condition. The only flaws are very light wear marks and the scratch in the B-17 at engine #3. Notice the 'Sunburst' logo with no 'Famous Fighters' in the oval, which dates this kit closer to the mid 1960s. Molded in black and clear with the clear triangular 'globe' display stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition with the only flaw being very slight yellowing. The instructions are in 'excellent' condition with typical yellowing and very slight edge wear.

Very easily made as they are flat, narrow parts; I have included plenty of the correct thickness of sheet plastic so you can made them. Still factory sealed and in remarkable investment-grade 'Near Mint+' condition. The seal is intact. 1969 hardbox issue. This kit was originally designed as a gas powered flying model. However, Aurora discontinued the gas powered line very shortly after introduction due to returns and liability issues. Since the mold investment was already made, Aurora marketed these kits as large scale static models and they became know as "Screwdriver Kits" to collectors. For example, the 1/32 scale B-25 was issued in Gas U-Control and then static - but the P-51 may have only been issued in static.
