This model features the main airframe parts vacuform molded in white plastic, mumerous cast metal details, clear parts (not yellowed)and full plans/instructions. Any C-47 kit can be used for finer details. The kit has never been started. The metal parts are still in the factory sealed small bag; all other parts have been inventoried complete and includes all paperwork. NOTE: the clear nose (bombardiers) section is warped and split in two. NOTE: Special modeling skills, including scratch building are required for vacuform kits. It is noteworthy for it's excellent fit & finish and the large and beautiful set of decals for the "Gulfhawk" Gulf Oil sponsored air-show aircraft flown by the famous Al Williams. Williams amazing stunt routines amazed millions of spectators over several decades; however (and unfairly), his Gulfhawk aircraft were more famous than he was. There were many Gulfhawks through the years that amazed millions of spectators, but two of the most famous were the F3F Biplane and the F8F Bearcat.
