First issue 1956 'S' issue with fantastic box artwork. The box is in 'excellent+' condition with light general wear as the only significant flaw. Like almost all of Revell's early ship models, this one is very finely molded and has very good detail. Full hull, large scale kit features complete deck fittings, rotating and elevating main 5" gun, 8 depth charge launchers, rear depth charge racks, very nicely detailed superstructure with separately molded AA guns, life rafts, search lights, radar, davits, lifeboats, booms, very good detail below the waterline including rudder, propellers & shafts and more. Molded in classic gloss white, butterscotch and gray. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.
