Still factory sealed and from 1973. The shortcomings of the original Lockheed Electra gave it a short career as an airliner. But the sound design was modified into one of the most successful and long serving of all ASW aircraft - the Orion. Revell seized upon this opportunity to recoup some of the money sunk into the Electra molds. The molds were modified to make this kit, the "A" version of this venerable patrol aircraft.
