This is the special 1985 issue produced exclusively for Milslides of England. From the original 1974 molds and well detailed at that time. The actual model represents the night fighter version of the Beaufighter with airborne interception radar. The Beaufighter was flown by aces such like Flt./Lt. "Cat's Eyes" Cunningham. His final score stood at 20 victories and his aircraft is depicted in this model. The model features detailed Bristol Hercules engines, removable cowling, two flight crew, very good cockpit, optional position landing gear, radar antenna, rotating propellers & wheels and more. Never started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags; the parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions.
