1/1 45-98 Premier 45 Caliber Automatic Pistol - Shoots Harmless Pellets
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG
Rare kit from the late 1950s or early '60s. this large, actual-size gun model is well detailed and molded in black plastic, many metal springs and with machine-carved wooden 'bullets' that are factory painted green, blue and yellow. This is a working model; you can load upt to eight 'bullets' into the magazine, insert the magazine into the pistol, cock, then fire. Inventoried 100% complete with all plastic parts, the numerous metal springs, metal hardware and 'bullets' all present. Includes instructions. NOTE: this kit has minor assembly; the magazine has been assembled. It works perfectly and other than some visible glue it is fine. There is no other assembly. This kit was one in a line of Premier full size guns, which included a 45 Caliber Automatic Pistol, Thompson Submachine Gun, Trenton, Antique Pistol, Braddock, Lafitte, Valley Forge and a Davey Crockett Rifle. The molds were cut by Premier, but their current locations are not know. To date it appears that Pyro/Life-Like did not purchase these molds as reissues are unknown. These kits are not as detailed as the much later LS guns, but still make nice models.
