Includes the following factory-sealed aftermarket upgrades: Squadron #9529 Crystal Clear Canopy P-51B Malcom Hood (in perfect condition and includes 2 canopies), AeroMaster Decals 148-008 P-61 B/D Basic Stencils, Waldron Model Products 1/48 P-51D Cockpit Placards and Waldron 1/48 PE Standard Seatbelt Buckles. The actual kit is the 1973 release in 1/48 scale. Very finely molded and detailed for that time featuring detailed cockpit and gear wells and choice of two canopies. The decals are for Col. Howard, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. He was an AVG pilot and became the first US pilot to become an ace in both the Pacific and European theaters. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
