First issue hardbox dated 1962. This model is part of a very popular and successful line of 1/48 World War II kits that Monogram began in the early 1960s; new kits were introduced continually into the early 1980s. This kit features great fit and finish, retracting landing gear, rotating wheels & propeller, pilot, cockpit and optional drop tank. Molded in the correct silver, black and clear plastic. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Please NOTE that the box has light age spotting; it can be seen on the right side in the light yellow areas. Fading can see see on the right edge if you look closely.
