From high-quality Otaki molds. This famous German Flying Boat built in 1929. Dornier dreamed that this huge aircraft would become a trans-oceanic airliner with passengers traveling in oceanliner-like luxury. A tour of South and North America was conducted, but orders never materialized due to excessive fuel consumption and a lack of power. Total load was 170 passengers and crew, and the 12 engines developed 7200 HP. the model kit has over 110 parts and a 13 inch wingspan. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
