1/72 scale kit with legendary LS quality. Builds to a highly accurate and detailed kit. Molded in orange and clear. The model has not been started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bag. Includes decals and instructions. LS was one of the earliest Japanese manufacturers to produce very high quality kits. The fact that Hasegawa still uses some LS molds testifies to their detail and accuracy. DD-792 USS Callaghan was sunk July 9, 1945, by a Willow configured for kamikaze attack. It has been reported the light construction of the aircraft prevented the ship's AA ammunition proximity fuses from detonating. The type was also reported to have been used by Indonesian forces against Dutch colonial rule in 1947.
