1/48 1400 Heller Snecma C-450 Coleoptere

Rare kit of the 1950s French VTOL aircraft. The Coleoptere ('annular wing') was designed much as the American Pogo aircraft; however, the Coleoptere was exclusively jet powered. Some test flights took place on a tether, but the aircraft was destroyed while performing a free-flight transition from vertical to horizontal. The kit has never been started. All parts are still internally sealed in factory bags. With instructions and decals. Instructions have slight bug damage. Decals are still in the factory sealed bag. Box is 100% complete but heavily worn and has clear tape on it as shown.
