1/74 07301 Glencoe World War I Subchaser - (Sub Chaser ex-ITC)
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Fair
1989 issue from Ex-ITC (Ideal) molds originally from the early 1960s. This is a well-detailed scale model for that time that features full hull, complete deck fittings and more. Includes a display stand. NOTE: this kit has been neatly started as follows: hull halves assembled. The work done is excellent++ but there is some visible glue that needs to be sanded off near the stern. There is no other assembly. The parts have been inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: two propeller blades are broke off but are present and fit back well for a straight-forward repair. As is typical with this model, some of the stanchions are broken off and missing. Striking Leynnwood box art showing SCs attacking in defense of a convoy, under a threatening sky. SC96 served in the Med during WW I. US subchasers were considered an important deterrent to Central Powers submarine activity in the theater.
