This is the very first US aircraft to be named Corsair; over 130 entered service. The well-built aircraft achieved fame as the holder of altitude and speed records. It even saw combat service in Nicaragua where one Corsair pilot was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for a daring rescue. Esoteric was known for making perhaps the finest vacuform kits. The moldings are crisp and have fine recessed detail - better than many injection molded kits. Every part needed to complete the kit is included down to the interior. Includes metal details, decals, extruded strut material and full instructions.
