Still factory sealed and in amazing, investment-grade 'Sealed Near Mint++' condition. This is the 1967 issue hardbox issue and likely the second release of this kit. In the late 1960s Aurora realized that the older molds were out of date and modelers were demanding more realism. They made a new set of molds for ships, airplanes and helicopters. These were significant improvements as the new molds were on par with current offerings. This Cobra kit is one of these significantly better models. This Cobra and other new model were praised by reviewers; however, the bulk of Aurora's line was still 1950s molds. The new kits were too little, too late.
