Still factory sealed. This rare issue was is directly from the collection of the original owner, who purchased it brand-new on March 15, 1961. He bought numerous other kits that day - it must have been a great model shopping spree! The Type 2 logo paper header is in 'Very Good+' condition. Molded in the correct light blue plastic with a clear canopy & windows and the early, two-piece clear Airfix 'teardrop-base' stand. Airfix's second logo for plastic models is known among collectors as the 'Type Two' or 'T2' logo and was used from the late 1950s into the early 1960s.
