Still factory sealed. This rare issue was is directly from the collection of the original owner, who purchased this model new on June 1, 1961. The Type 2 logo paper header is in 'Very Good' condition. Molded in the correct silver plastic with the early, two-piece clear Airfix 'teardrop-base' stand. Airfix's second logo for plastic models is known among collectors as the 'Type Two' or 'T2' logo and was used from the late 1950s into the early 1960s.
