Original issue 1958 'S' kit in excellent condition. The colors and gloss as are new. The box has four solid corners and had never been repaired. Light, general wear is the only flaw. This model represents the first test Regulus II with landing gear. Very nicely molded in a beautiful deep gloss blue and with very good detail down to the gear wells. Includes display stand. Never started. 100% inventoried complete with all parts/decals and instructions present.

Big scale F-4 model includes a large Blue Angels decal sheet. Kit features cockpit detail, optional position landing gear and four AIM-7F Sparrow missiles. Normally molded in blue, clear and with a large display stand. Naturally, I cannot verify that since it is factory sealed.

In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Still factory sealed. Very highly detailed 1/16 scale kit of this classic sports car. Features spoked wheels, detailed drive line, suspension and frame, complete engine and cabin and more. Molded in colored plastic, clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires. The first Mog was built in 1910 and changed little till 1936, when it was joined by the four wheeled Morgan sports car. The last Mog was built in 1941, making it's production run of 41 years the longest in automotive history. The Moggie pioneered independent front suspension. It could speed up to 90 mph with it's two forward speed gearbox. The wheelbase of 85 inches. The front brakes were lever applied and the rear brakes worked through the foot pedal. Many still survive in museums.

You can leave the firing sprint out, or included it and load and fire the plastic shells. Features very realistic gunmetal and wood colored parts, brass plated cartridges, chrome Smith & Wesson badges and even barrel and stock weights for the right 'feel.' Not an operating gun but a very realistic replica. The kit has never been started. All parts are still factory sealed and the special display cardboard is included and intact. Includes instructions. Rare 1957 first and only issue. When sales of the dramatic XSL-01 Moon Rocket did not meet expectations, Revell molded the top stage in a different color plastic from the XSL-01, added a special 3D Moon Base Stand and boxed it as a stand-alone kit. The result was this Moon Ship with incredible box art. The box art invites you to 'Enter the Age of Space' with these action features: retractable landing ski, removable fuselage section with detailed cabin with controls and instrument panels and a crew of three astronauts. Molded in correct baby blue and clear plastic. This model has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Please NOTE that the box displays much better than the 'vg+' grade. It is graded as such because there is some clear tape on the long box sides. Without the tape this would be an 'excellent+' grade box.

Very rare 1968 reissue of the Helios "S" kit from 1959. The Helios was a 'near future' space model of a proposed nuclear powered lunar landing craft from 1959. The model was designed by Krafft A. Ehricke of Convair Astronautics Division, who also designed the Revell Space Shuttlecraft and some of the famous Strombecker Space kits. All phases of the flight can be recreated with the model; twisting the nose cone actually lowers the landing gear and power cables. Includes retractable landing gear, movable control surfaces, removable control capsule on first stage, gondola power cables that reel in and out, detailed living quarters with removable viewing panel, launch platform and 5 crew. Correctly molded in three colors: silver, dark blue and white. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'mint' condition and the instructions are 'near mint.' The box has perfect color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, no tape or price tags, no tears or rips and no fading or stains. There is a light ding at the top center as shown and very light wear.
