The kit features a detailed engine, opening hood, very good suspension, complete interior, opening gull wing doors, concealed rockets, spy arsenal, parachute, dual long range flame throwers, lasers, front gun barrels, pad printed tires with amazing detail and all new decals. Molded in a gloss light blue (like the box art), clear or smoke-clear windows, red-tinted clear tail light lens, chrome plate and with rubber tires. Never started. Still factory sealed. 2010 Revell of Germany reissue of the classic 1950s "S" kit. Well detailed kit for that time featuring a one piece hull with props, shafts and rudders, detailed deck and superstructure, Regulus II Cruise Missile and hanger, nuclear reactor, helicopter, and Terrier and Talos missiles with launcher. CGN-9 U.S.S. LONGBEACH was the world's first nuclear-powered warship. She was launched in July of 1959 as the lead ship of the first new cruiser class since WWII. Originally designed as an all-missile cruiser, she was later fitted with two 5/36 caliber guns amidships. After serving more than 33 years, she was decommissioned on 1 May 1995.

1961 model features fantastic Cold-War artwork and full interior detail. The Ethan Allen was the lead submarine of her class. These replacements for the George Washington class had 16 tubes as before, but could carry the Polaris A-1, A-2 and A-3. Classic large (24" long) SSBN kit actual fires a spring-loaded Polaris Missiles from the launch tube. Highly detailed and well molded for that time. Starboard hull halve hinges down to reveal full interior detail for each compartment. NOTE: this kit has some assembly. The front torpedo room as been assembled and painted. Quality of assembly is 'excellent' but quality of paint is only 'fair.' There is no other assembly. Inventoried and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. One (4) place bunk bed is a lighter shade of gray than the others; it is from an earlier issue of this same kit.

Please note that the box displays much better than the 'good-' rating but is graded as such because there is a 1.5" x .5" sticker on the right short side (partially torn) and clear tape on both long sides at the bottom.
