Still factory sealed. This is a 2006 reissue of the original 1961 kit. The model is 20 inches long, full hull and well detailed. The Oriana was a very famous P&O Orient Liner. In December 1962, in fog off San Diego, Oriana collided with CV-33 USS Kearsarge, causing considerable damage to both vessels. A claims court found Oriana's captain had been steaming too fast for conditions. The CV was for a time afterward good-naturedly nicknamed "The Mighty Kay-runch."

The 1973 Monogram/Mattel issue of the classic 'Four Star' kit. Well detailed with excellent fit. Features retracting landing gear, rotating wheels and props, three man crew, optional position door and two survivors in a life raft. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: decals are 100% intact and flat but have fine age cracks. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam.

Still factory sealed an in investment-grade 'Mint' condition. This is the third issue and it is much rarer than the first. Please note that it retains the original 1956 box art, but the square Aurora 'Northern Lights' logo is gone, replace by the to-be classic sunburst 'Famous Fighters' oval. The price extension is 79 cents. There is a Parents' Magazine logo at the right, making this kit about 1958/59. The second issue is identical except for a 69 cent extension.

Very high quality model and the only 1/350 scale Porter Destroyer Leader model ever made. BWN said they made the finest ship models available and it was no idle boast. The master was researched in depth and built to museum standards. In making the molds, the silicone was de-aired in a vacuum chamber; then the resin was pressure cast. This method makes for virtually air-bubble-free parts with flawless detail. Scale fidelity and historical accuracy are top-rate throughout. Features museum-quality resin castings, metal details and a large fret of photoetched brass parts. Can be built waterline or full hull. Includes very good pictorial and text instructions. Well detailed model builds one of four variants: NF II Night Fighter, MK. IV Day Bomber, FB VI Fighter Bomber and Mosquito II Night Intruder. Molded in gray, black and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. While the box displays better than the 'good' grade, it is graded that because there is a 1/8" x 1.5" closed tear on the left short box side.
