Excellent model with full color decals for a prewar scout plane from USS Phoenix. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one small part, a brace for the horizontal stabilzier (easily made from pulled sprue or stock plastic). Otherwise complete with all other parts, decals and instructions present. The USS Phoenix was the only ship to get underway and clear Pearl Harbor during the attack on December 7, 1941. She was sold to Argentina, renamed the General Belgrano, later sunk in the Falkland Islands/Malvinas by a British submarine.

Amagiri was launched in 1930 and lead a very active career from the Shanghai Incident in 1932 and into WWII. It was Amagiri that sliced JFK's PT-109 in half during a Tokyo Express supply missing to the Solomon Island.
