1973 issue and an interesting and rare variation on the box art layout; please note that the background is much darker, white the strip behind the kit name at the top is still white. This kit is part of a famous 1/48 scale series of WWII aircraft kits that Monogram originally developed in the 1960s. Very well molded and features rotating propeller and wheels, retractable landing gear, pilot and drop tank. Molded in green, black and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed (the green ones) are still in the sealed bag. The black and clear parts were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

Rare friction-drive promotional model. This is an one-adult owned model and has never been played with. It has been stored in a box and never seen light or smoke- the plastic is glossy and clean as new. The body is amazing condition for this type of plastic. The factory silver paint on the top and the green interior paint is mint with zero wear. The body has very little warping. Oddly, it is the interior which is warped but that is the easiest part to fix. The clear has the typical aging; however, I have a new Jo-Han 1960 Plymouth windshield that I am including with this promo - it is a straight-forward replacement. The whitewalls are exceptional, and there is no wear at all on the tires. Strangely, there is a zone of copper spraypaint on the center of the underside. That is the only unusual thing. She is certainly not perfect, with the new windshield installed she will be about as nice as you can get for an all-original, rare promo.

Still factory sealed but the seal has drawn the box top concave. Great kit of the airborne vengeance weapon launcher. Markings for KG53 'Legion Condor' or KG53 'Blitz-Geschwader'. These first cruise missile launchers reached operational status and limited success in operations. Missions went well but the accuracy of the V-1 was the primary limitation.
