Still factory sealed. Dated 1991. Very large and highly detailed kit in 1/48. Features extensive interior detailing, optional position bomb bays, bomb load, detailed wheel wheels and more. Comes with decals for 'Lucky 'Leven.' This kit does include the bomb cart, 1000 lb bombs, conversion parts to make the kit one of the two atomic bombers and the atomic bombs 'Fat Man' and 'Little Boy' which were deleted from later issues.

First issue from 1977 which contains the desirable color Diorama Sheet depicting the Enola Gay's preflight before the Hiroshima strike. The box is in 'excellent' condition, which is rare. Highly detailed model features markings for Bockscar, Enola Gay and Thumper, excellent cockpit, extensive interior, detailed bomb bay, optional position bomb bay doors, rotating turrets and elevating guns, crew members, optional optional parts for the proper turrets for Thumper or the special turret delete for the atomic bombers and two nuclear bombs, 'Little Boy' and 'Fat Man'. These are not included in some later issues. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present. Decals and instructions are both in 'excellent+' condition. Please NOTE that the box displays much better than the 'good+' ranking; it is graded like this because there is a strip of masking tape along the bottom of all four side panels and the box tray.

Fantastic Cold War Box art. KVZ was the logo used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some unique Cold War kits were produced of Russian Airliners and Military Helicopters and Aircraft. Large and colorful decal sheet is in excellent condition. The kit is molded in white, clear, silver and black and includes full landing gear and a large display stand. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts, decals, stand and instructions. Please note that the box art is Interflug, but this issue came with Aeroflot decals from the factory.

From 1961. Large scale well detailed kit. Can be flown rubber free flight, gas free flight, or converted to electric RC using modern small and light servos and receivers. Features quality die-cut balsa parts, stripwood and spars, excellent vacuform full engine cowl, scale wheels, thrust button, clear window material, rubber motor, plastic prop, metal stock and prop shaft, diecut plywood firewall for gas engine option, big decal sheet and two sheets of superb full size plans and detailed instructions. Never started and complete. Guillow's founder, Paul K. Guillow, was a WWI naval aviator. In 1926 he began producing wooden model airplane kits. His 'Shelf Models' were some of the earlier non-flying models in production. Guillow's grew during the model boom of the 1930s, and when the Depression hit the hardest, Guillow's responded with lower prices and became one of the low price leaders, frequently advertising in Model Airplane News and other leading publications. During the war, like most manufacturers, Guillow's was forced to alternative materials such as cardboard and pine. Guillow's survived the post WWII slump by creating many inexpensive profile flying rubber powered aircraft and gliders in the 1950s (along with North Pacific) which became famous - some are still available today. The stick and tissue lines have been updated with laser cut parts and are still in production as of 2009.
