1970s issue. Includes optional parts and decals to build F4B from VF-74 USS Forrestal, F4C US Air Force, F4D USAF, F4E Israeli Air Force or F4J of VF-31 USS Saratoga. Underwing stores include gun pods, fuel tanks, iron bombs, and AIM-7 Sparrow missiles. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: box has moisture damage to one short side. The kit inside is 'excellent' however. Decals look 'excellent' but you should be prepared to use your own decals since moisture was present at some point in the past.

Very good quality wood and metal kit from the Golden Age of HO Craftsman kit. Builds a very accurate prototype of the 40' AAR type car in CNR colors. Includes cast metal trucks. Kit features factory printed, embossed sides of heavy bristol board. Also includes nicely done early injection molded car ends and roof, cast metal underframe and roof walk, other wood & metal stock as needed, brake wheel and system, brake platform, couplers, ladders and more. The model has never been started. Inventoried with all other parts and instructions. Includes full size plans. Fuselage halves ("professional" - as good as is possible with this kit), wing halves (professional), engine pods (excellent++)(intake and exhausts correctly painted), stabilizer halve (professional) and wheels to gear struts (professional, struts painted silver and wheels black). Inventoried complete with all parts and display stand, instructions and "excellent+" condition Delta decals.

Includes #439-924 Ford Tractor Cab Trucks. There are two trucks; each has a cast metal frame, detailed resin cab body, detailed cast metal wheels and full decals with painting and decal guide. Never started and complete. The Trailers are injection molded plastic and includes two factory painted C&O 32' vans; all you have to do is install the wheels and stands. Never started and complete with full instructions.

Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of their kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In this case, they used the car at the Montagu Motor Museum in Brockenhurst, Hant, England. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior, spoked wheels and a removable hood or 'bonnet.' Molded in gloss dark red and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

1965 hardbox issue with Tom Morgan boxart. A very nice, quality model that features parts for float or land versions, a crew of two and a unique water base for displaying the seaplane variant. With decals for the US and Dutch Military versions. Molded in gloss silver and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Hawk's instructions show photos of the civil ST version but they did not provide decals for those.

Hawk Laird Solution Racer - with Racing Pylon Stand, 1/48, 628-60

Softbox issue dated 1962 with great Bill Campbell box artwork. Very nicely molded kit for that time with excellent fit, fine recessed panel lines and raised rib lines. Includes Pylon Racing Stand that is ideal for a 1930 racing diorama. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present. The Laird Solution won the first official Thompson Trophy Race in 1930 at the Curtiss-Wright Reynolds Airport in Chicago. The Laird was the only Biplane to win the Thompson and it beat all the military aircraft. Charles 'Speed' Holman was the pilot and was the first civilian to attain a speed over 200 mph in a closed course event nationally. E. M. Laird Airplane Company built the aircraft for BF Goodrich. Construction began only 3 weeks before the race. There was only one 10 minute trial flight before the aircraft won the race.

1964 hardbox issue with wonderful Bill Campbell artwork. Well detailed kit of the famous 1930s racing aircraft. Features fine, recessed panel lines, nicely detailed engine, rigging diagrams and removable cowling. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. In 1929 at the National Air Races in Cleveland the Wright Whirlwind-powered Travel Air and the pilot Doug Davis beat the finest Army and Navy pilots to win the first presentation of the legendary Thompson Trophy. The ship was designed in such secrecy that it was known as the 'Mystery Ship.'
