Still factory clear tape sealed. Superb, large-scale wooden ship kit measure 19.5 inches long when assembled. Features fully precarved solid hardwood hull, all basswood and metal construction, copper sheathing below the waterline, laser cut paddlewheel covers, brass and Britannia metal fittings and much more. The Harriett Lane was built in 1857 and named for President Buchanan's niece. The cutter was 180 feet long with a 30 foot beam and displacement was 670 tons. Armament consisted of 3-9 inch Dahlgrens and 1-30 lb Parrot Rifle. She was built at a time when steam was not fool-proof, so she is rigged for full sails. Harriett Lane served as the Presidential Yacht, the fired the first shot of the Civil War. She chased down blockade runners until January 1, 1863 when she was attacked by five Confederate Gun Boats and boarded. She was captured and renamed the Lavinia and was used as a blockade runner. Near the end of the war she caught fire at sea, and put into Havana Harbor. Federal forces took her again and rebuilt her in 1869 as the bark 'Elliot Ritchie'. She was abandoned at sea in 1884.

Hard-to-find kit in very good condition. First issue dated 1977 includes parts to build one of the three versions shown and includes Warner Brothers Roadrunner decal. Features detailed engine and compartment, opening hood, full interior detailed underside and more. Molded in white, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. All the parts that were factory sealed (the vast majority) are still in factory sealed bags. The chrome, clear and tires are the only parts that were never factory sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes instructions and decals.

Very rare. Museum quality craftsman model in large scale. Features hardwood, kiln-dried, factory-carved hull, hardwood factory-carved superstructure, extensive high quality cast Britannia fittings and other hardwood and metal parts as required. Includes very detailed full size plans and text instruction booklet. The kit has never been started. The fittings are all still in the factory sealed bags. The parts that were never factory sealed (hull, wood and metal stock) have been inventoried complete. Includes all paperwork. The C-3 Cargo Ships were larger and faster than the C-2; after WWII they were among the most modern vessels of our merchant fleet. The actual Sea Fox was 492 feet long. This kit represents a generic C-3; by researching the differences and some minor scratch building you could model any of the ships in this class.

2015 issue of the cut-away of the famous 'Snorting Bull' of Gunther Prien. Features 124 pieces, interior detail and crew figures. Prien and his men survived 11 sailings but were lost on the 12th. On his second sailing, Prien made history by sailing into the British Base of Scapa Flow and sinking the battleship HMS Royal Oak. The kit has never been started. Revell F-102A Delta Dagger with 14 Ground Accessories - 'S' Issue, 1/48, H282-298

Dated 1958. Very rare version of the large F-102 with all the ground equipment and crew shown on the front cover. Unique kit features landing gear and flaps that retract and extend when canopy is opened and closed, removable rear fuselage section and detailed removable jet engine, movable control surfaces, opening weapons bay with Falcon missiles and more. The F-102 is molded in silver and clear while the ground equipment is molded in bright yellow. The kit has never been started. The ground equipment is still sealed in the factory bag, while the F-102 has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts. The two correct decal sheets are flat and in 'excellent++' condition. Both correct instruction sheets are also present and in 'excellent++' condition. The box is rated 'excellent' but please read carefully. It has great color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, no fading and no missing or torn litho. Flaws include light edge wear (see left side), very light creases and general wear and thin clear tape/tape marks on the two longer sides. The box tray (lower box) is 'very good+' with one light crunch and a tape stain from the factory sealing tape. Please note that this kit must be shipped insured.

Rare. When the Gowland/Revell 'Highway Pioneers' burst upon the hobby scene in 1951, they started a hobby revolution. Plastic model kits were not new in 1951, but successful marketing had never been done before. The sensation swept the country, and Gowland & Revell could not make the kits fast enough. The fact that the public was buying these models shocked the existing hobby establishment. One such manufacture was Hudson Miniatures. In the 1940s, Hudson had established a name in making 1/16 scale 'Old Timer' models of automobiles. These were excellent kits with wood and metal parts, but a high degree of skill was required to finish the wood parts. In the late 1940s, they added some injection molded plastic parts (usually acetate wheels and lamps) to the series but the rest of the kit remained wood. When Hudson saw what was happening with the Highway Pioneers, he began to design his own 1/32 scale line of all-plastic cars called 'Lil Old Timers', which hit the stores in 1954. An early paper fold-out catalog shows 18 models including some real gems like the 1910 International Harvester Passenger Car, 1911 Brush Delivery Truck and 1906 Columbia Electric Car just to name a few. The line was bought by Revell a short time after it's release, and Revell did reissue some (but not all) of the kits. As you would expect from Hudson, this is a nice kit with excellent moldings and detail for the time. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions.
