Still factory sealed. The box is in 'very good' condition but the seal is only 'good' due to splitting along the left side and left lower top as shown. Rare model from 1974. This truck is very well detailed featuring a 350 CID V8 Chevy engine, detailed engine compartment, opening hood, full interior, optional tonneau cover, molded underside detail, a very nice scale Honda motorcycle kit and more. Please note that the seal is intact but the box has heavy creases from where other kits were place on top of it.

Very nicely detailed for that time, featuring printed clear window sheet, water pump, bike rack, belfry, school bell, ladder, operating teeter-totter, tire swing and more. Never started. 1970s Profile Series issue includes decals for any of the three box art aircraft. This model is from the original Airfix molds and features movable control surfaces, elevating guns, rotating turrets, retracting landing gear, rotating props and wheels. NOTE: one short box side panel is sun faded.

Very rare first issue from the 1950s and one in a series of very early science fiction kits with fantastic box art. Lindberg marketed the world's first plastic Sci-Fi kit, the UFO, and must have been encouraged by the results because they issued an entire series of fictitious but 'closer to real' space vehicles after the UFO. Molded in gloss white plastic and red-tinted clear. Never started. The actual Space Station itself has been inventoried complete; but NOTE: the stand base and the small metal stand rod are both missing. Otherwise includes all other parts, decals and instructions. A small part of the decals was once stuck to the instructions in one small area; one transfer is affected and there is a small hole and small tear in the instructions. The box displays better than the 'good' grade but is rated as such because of the creasing at the top center and top box side.

Type three logo issue from the 1960s. In the 1930s Pan Am was a household word in the USA for their romantic foreign routes and the glamorous 'China Clippers' that crossed the Pacific Ocean, stopping at such ports as Wake Island. Pan Am's attention soon turned to the Atlantic. Since non-stop service would be needed, a new aircraft was designed. The Boeing 314 was chosen. This huge flying boat started flying the Atlantic mail in 1939 with a trip over 26 hours long. Before the war, the 314 fleet flew the Pacific, Atlantic and other routes. The airliner was a palace compared to the cramped jets and limited service of today. The flight deck compared to the bridge of a ship and housed a crew of 6 in comfort. It was connected to the passenger cabin by a spiral staircase. The luxurious cabins were divided into 5 standard compartments, each seating 10 passengers, a dining salon for 14, a special compartment for four and a deluxe bridal suite. 74 could be carried on day trips and 40 when sleeping quarters for all passengers was required. Chefs prepared gourmet meals while passengers lounged in deeply cushioned wicker chairs and enjoyed a grand view of the scenery from about 5,000 feet. The age of the Clippers ended shortly after WWII when land planes could operate at much higher speeds than the flying boats. This model includes decals for both aircraft listed. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Hampdens, along with Whitley and Wellingtons, formed the RAF's Heavy Bomber force at the outbreak of WWII. Dusty Rhodes provided more information on the box art aircraft - Hampden AE240 took off from RAF Scampton at 1443 hours on the 12th February 1942, detailed to attack the German battleships Scharnhorst and Gneisenau in the English Channel. Nothing was heard from the aircraft after take off and the aircraft and crew disappeared without trace. The Squadron lost 4 aircraft on this mission.

Very well detailed kit from the original Taimei molds. Taimei was the first to use the Aeroskin type process that was widely used by Renwal. Actually, the Renwal molds for the Voisen, Bleriot XI and Antoinette came from Taimei. The original internal frame structure and details of the aircraft is built from injection molded plastic. When complete, it is covered with a very strong fabric which is included. The result is a very realistic aircraft. Never started.
