This is one of those kits, featuring factory-assembled, all-metal gear box with two RE-14 electric motors, hand-held remote control, factory wired switch and control unit, metal hardware and a very well detailed model kit of this self-propelled anti-aircraft gun.

Very rare original "S" kit from 1959. The box states "So Realistic It Does Everything But Fly!" and that is no idle boast. It is full of action features; the wings fold, dive brakes operate, arresting hook moves, canopy slides to show full cockpit, landing gear retracts and cowling comes off to show fully detailed engine. The most interesting thing is that the landing gear retracts and extends with a very complicated gear system that is operated from a central point. Molded in the correct gloss medium gray and clear plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition with slight yellowing as the only flaw and the instructions are in the same condition also. NOTE: push rods and 2 exhaust pieces are neatly broken off the engine; they are present so you can glue them back in place. This is typical for this model.

The fantastic all-Canadian replacement for the CF-100 that was canceled immediately before the first production airframes left the assembly line. The prototypes had flown a great number of hours and the airplane was a great success. The cancellation of the project is still a mystery today in some aviation circles.
