Big-scale kit has a 10.75 inch wingspan and features accurate, factory profile cut wood fuselage, factory cut wings, a high quality printwood sheet with 21 other parts, fully formed tread wheels, sandpaper, color insignia sheet (US Army) and excellent instructions including full construction details, numerous templates for the fuselage, excellent full-size drawings with additional detail sketches and history on the aircraft. Features all hardwood parts (unless mentioned), hollow light enclosure (heavy cardboard), completely finished convex rear housing, clear plastic front lens, working support arms, detailed trailer with four completely finished wheels, junction box and resistor box, sandpaper and more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes multi-view drawings, exploded assembly instructions and text instructions.

Very rare. This is the first issue of this kit. Large 18" high model features removable panels and full interior detail with rocket engines, fuel pumps, piping detail from tanks to engines, helium oxygen and nitric acid tanks, instrument section and satellite. Launching stand is included. The model is correctly molded in white, silver and bronze plastic. Kit has not been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one small parts that is not visible after assembly (#44, which is a cylinder; interior of the satellite). Otherwise complete and includes all other pieces and instructions. Please note that Palmer did not release decals with this kit, but instead clearly etched 'US NAVY" and the roll pattern on the sides of the rocket. NOTE: pieces #45 and 46 are present but broken. The pieces are in a specially marked, separate zip lock bag for easy identification. The Renwal Vanguard kit is identical to this model. It was issued at a later date from the same molds.

Larger scale Pyro kit. Full hull model measures about 7 inches long when assembled. Nicely molded with billowing sails and display stand. This is one of the 'intermediate' line of Pyro ship kits, which were first called '$1.00 Models' and in 1967 were renamed '$1.25 Models.' All were roughly the same size and were a significant increase in detail from the '50 Cent Models.' (later called 74 cent models). Kits in the $1.00/$1.25 line (by 1967) included the Skipjack, Cutty Sark, Charles W.
