1982 issue that is still considered one of if not the best 1/72 scale DC-3. Very well detailed featuring all recessed panel lines, full cockpit, pilots, internal bulkheads, cabin floor, detailed engines and more. Includes optional parts and a very large and colorful decal sheet for either Eastern Airlines, Western or Pan Am. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The DC-3 is directly responsible for bringing the US airlines into the modern transportation age. She pioneered regular cross-country travel and flew over 90% of the passenger miles in 1939, virtually taking over the airline business. The speed, comfort and economy of the DC-3 was responsible for doubling air traffic only two years after it went into service.

SALE!! From the 1950s. One and only issue in investment grade 'Near Mint: condition. I personally removed these kits from the original Hobby-Time shipping box - it is the first time they have seen light since the factory. There is very, very little wear - only as much you would expect from the original packing and boxing operations. This is a very nice kit for that time with fine raised panel lines, interior detail and molded in gloss silver and clear. The kit has never been started. The original 'krinkle' bag is present but brittle and cracked. I inventoried the parts and they are 100% present. The decals and instructions are in 'mint' condition.
