Rare 24 inch wingspan kit with the box in remarkable 'Near Mint' condition. This model is designed for R/C, free flight or control line. Includes innovative system for automatically dropping bombs in flight. Features die-cut balsa parts, plastic wheels with rubber tires, finished wire landing gear struts and other metal parts, pre-formed nose bearing & plastic propeller, plastic engine covers, bombs, radiator cowl, machine gun panel, pilot bust and more, clear die-cut windshield, rubber motor, control surface hinge material, hardware, full color decals and superb full size plans with instructions. Never started. The hardware and fittings envelope is still factory sealed. All the other parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: instructions have bug damage to two panels; white noticeable, it does not interfere with constructions. The decals have some bug damage that is mainly on the backing paper. The decals are 99%+ intact with just a few having very slight edge damage from the bugs. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling kits to be deluxe kits as they featured color decals, high-grade die cut balsa, vacuform plastic detail parts, plastic wheels (if required), finished wire landing gear, rubber motor and plastic prop, full size plans with instruction details and full instructions for conversion to RC or control line. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

It is mint in the box and has never been displayed; all chrome and tires are in factory-new condition. The Zora Collection 56 Vette is 1/32 scale and a factory-built and painted die-cast metal model. It is mint and still in the factory tissue and bubble wrap inside the box. All Styrofoam presentation material is present.

1973 Mattel/Monogram release of this great large-scale model. Rare box art variation has the model facing to the right; usually it is facing to the left. Features opening doors, full interior, removable cowling, engine detail and two hunting figures (including politically incorrect dead mountain lion). Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Monogram lists a cardboard diorama for use with this kit (and another for the Cessna 180). Still factory sealed. Rare model in exceptional condition. KVZ was the logo used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Aeroflot and Warsaw Pac Airliners as well as Military Helicopters and Aircraft. This is the large scale (1/100) Mercure in Air Inter markings. The Mercury airliner was the result of a Dassault marketing study in the late 1960s that said that the market would evolve for a short ranged jet aircraft with 130 to 160 seats. The first prototype flew in May of 1971. The kit is molded in gloss white, clear, black and silver. Mold quality is very good and details are raised and recessed.

It is certainly one of Ideal's most detailed and highest quality ship models and features a beautiful pre-carved balsawood hull, four sheets of quality printwood parts, wood and metal stock as required, a vast number of cast metal fittings, printed cardstock superstructure sides, a full color flag sheet as well as highly detailed three-view plans with hull cross sections, numerous superb detail drawings, very good instructions with additional building illustrations, full rigging diagram and more.

Ideal builder. The box is bad but the kit and decals are excellent. From original quality Frog kit - no rivets, just fine panel lines for a realistic model. Features separately molded rudder, elevator and ailerons, pilot and gunner figure and detailed engines with rotating propellers. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions. This box has some of my favorite Jo Kotula boxart. Kotula originally did 1930s covers for the magazine 'Model Airplane News' and later the Aurora box art of the late 1950s. Air Lines kits are all Frog molds that the Lines Brothers imported to the USA between 1964-1966. The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are one or two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo. Some kits include a Testors color painting guide also, but it is not specific to any model.
