1966 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. The model includes rubber tires and color, chrome plated & clear plastic parts. Features detailed chassis with suspension, steering linkage and gas tank, complete motor and interior, spoked wheels, removable hood and dual mount rear spares. Still factory sealed. This Profile Series model is from the 1970s and contains markings & painting guide for all three versions shown. The Profile Series was part of a model kit marketing program by MPC/General Mills in the early to mid 1970s. The kit inside is from quality Airfix molds, but the instructions, decals and box is MPC. This series likely seemed like an ideal follow-on for the previous MPC-Airfix joint venture, which was the 1960s 'Craftmaster' line which is well known today for the dramatic and colorful box artwork.

Original Renwal issue from the late 1950s; not a common modern reissue. The hardbox has fantastic artwork of Hawk in action shooting down a four engine bomber, which is probably a B-17 drone (like the Nike Ajax boxart). This was an excellent kit for that time featuring three removable missiles, a detailed launch trailer that elevates and rotates the missiles, complete radar trailer with rotating and tilting radar housings. There is a crew of four and full decals. Molded in white and olive drab plastic. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box has typical age spotting as shown.

Fantastic kit from the 1950s in an 'excellent+' condition box. The classic artwork shows the Nike Ajax blowing up what appears to be a B-17 over an American city. Judging from the fiery blast from the launching Ajax in the background, these two ground crew may not make it away in time. This is an excellent model for that time that still rates well today. It features detailed missile with separating states, operating control surfaces, operating launcher and more. The launcher is designed to connect other models to form an entire Nike Ajax Battery for the ultimate diorama. Molded in olive drab and white. The model has never been started. The white plastic parts and decals are still factory sealed; the olive drab parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions.
