First and only issue of this rare, large-scale kit. The hardbox is dated 1978 and has incredible artwork and the 'S' Cement logo on the sides. Large scale and well detailed featuring removable missile with moving top stage forward fins, complete working launcher and more. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the box is intact with great color and gloss & four solid corners but it has excessive wear and creasing as shown in the photo, hence the rating of only 'fair+.'

Very rare and 100% correct first issue from 1954 with the proper swastika box art and swastika decals. This one is even rarer as it is never started and complete. The model is molded in the correct gloss black and clear, with the rectangle-based clear stand, matching instructions, decals and even the original factory packing tissue paper. The decals are flat and in stunning 'excellent++' condition with the only flaw being slight age yellowing to the backing paper only. The instructions are 'near mint.' The box has very good color and gloss, four solid original corners (no repairs), no price tags or tag marks, no tape or tape marks (other than the thin factory sealing tape of course), no fading, stains or missing litho. Flaws include general wear & scuffing as shown and light corner wear. This kit has a fascinating history. The FW-190 was among the first (or was the first) kit made at the new West Hempstead factory in 1954. It immediately followed the famous "Brooklyn 8" (Aurora's first 8 aircraft kits). It was Aurora's first WWII aircraft kit to be originally issues with landing gear and bombs but still retains the small clear rectangle stand which was also shown on the instructions. This first issue shows the swastika on the box art and decals; however, Aurora quickly realized that they could not sell the kit in Europe. So they used an ink stamp to black out the offensive mark on the box top and initially cut it out of the decal sheet; however, they were quick to make a completely new decal sheet with the 'iron cross' replacing the swastika. These alterations are often called the 'second issue' although it carried the same part number and everything else was the same.

1962 hardbox 'Master Modeler' issue. This is the famous ship of Project Hope, which was financed by private citizens and US Industry. The ex-Navy Hospital ship was equipped with the latest technology and a staff of 6 doctors, nurses and technicians. The Hope and crew toured the world, treating disease and training doctors in the latest developments in medical science. The kit has never been started. Inside, it is factory new. All parts and all paperwork is still sealed in the factory clear bag. I can see that the special Hope booklet about the ship is present.

This is a highly prefabricated motor-glider model that includes a plastic fuselage with all necessary holds and cuttings done (down to the nose for perfectly pre-defined thrust angle), anodized aluminum tail boom, factory-built wings with main sparts of pine wood, factory-built tail feathers, electric motor and mount, 6x6" folding propeller, spinner and motor switch unit, very complete R/C hardware pack, light-weight vacuformed canopy (still factory sealed and in superb condition), extensive, full color decal (sticker) sheet and more. Rare 1955 Revell model with the great box artwork that has made these kits so famous and collectible. This large-scale model features excellent detail for that time and almost all items shown in the box art - railings, grates, name boards, navigation lights, vents, whistles, bumpers, bitts and even two crew members. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box rates only 'very good' because it has isolated and light age spotting as shown. The Long Beach was built in Decatur, Alabama in 1943 and was one of a fleet of tugs operated by the Wilmington Transportation Company. She had a registered length of 81.1 feet and a beam of 24 feet. Gross tonnage was 146 inches and she drew 8 feet of water. Powered by a 700 hp diesel, the range was just over 3,500 miles.
