Early 1950s first issue with old 'Aurora Line' rectangular logo. This kit was issued shortly after moving to the West Hempstead facility on Long Island. The side logos are the old Brooklyn style but with the new address in the lower bar. Molded in the correct glossy light blue and clear with the early style Aurora rectangular stand, correct Tatem Company decals and the correct instructions. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

1962 first issue in investment-grade 'near mint' condition. The boxtop has brilliant color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape or tape marks, no price tags and no tears or fading. The only flaws are a very small crease in the litho at the 's' in 'scale' and very light general wear. Please note the logo with 'Famous Fighters' in the border; this was issued for one year only, and by the next year Aurora went to simpler logo. This is a nicely made kit from ex-Strombecker molds and features a 'good' cockpit, two pilots, ejection seats, two-piece clear canopy, full landing gear and Aurora's famous 'Triangle' world map display stand. Molded in bright yellow and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

A superb model that sells new for $340. Of all aspects of New England fishing in the late 19th century, none was more distinctive than the mackerel purse-seine fishery with it's specialized gear, exacting techniques and fast, handsome schoolers built specifically for this seasonal work. Smuggler, with her extreme clipper hull, was one of the most beautiful of them all. This is a wood and metal model of the highest quality. When assembled, it measures 33 inches long and 25.5 inches high. Features a pre-carved basswood hull, laser cut hardwood parts, finely cast Britannia pewter fittings, all materials needed for deckhouses, spars and rigging material as well as three sheets of superb full-size plans. The kit has never been started. All parts are still in the factory sealed internal bags and includes plans (in mint condition) and the large instruction book (which is slightly used, it looks to have been studied). NOTE: unless you specify otherwise, this kit will ship in the original (very sturdy) model box wrapped in brown paper. If you specify, I will be glad to pack it inside a box but extra shipping will apply.

Unusual 1950s issue that never even mentions the F-86 on the box art. Ray Gaedke painted the amazing box top artwork; on the back is the clear CelloVision window (in mint condition) and the full color trading card. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The box is in 'good+' condition which is unusual because there were so thin. Even the opened eng panel is in good condition (not torn up like usual). Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'.
