Builds to an incredible static display or an operating ship. Never started. The small parts are all still factory sealed. The larger parts were never factory sealed and have been inventoried complete with plans. The kit will be shipped in the original Dean's Marine shipping box surrounded by a much larger, sturdy double box. Must be shipped insured. Due to the huge size of the one-piece fiberglass hull, shipping will not be inexpensive.

Late 1960s Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. This model is nicely detailed and has a tree of chrome parts and clear parts also. The box states that it can be converted to a 'road racing' or slot car. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. NOTE: one very small bumper brace on the body has broken off and missing - the other side is intact so one can be scratch built from stock plastic.

The plans are dated 1954. Nice smaller kit features Includes die cut balsa parts, vacuform nose, plastic wheels & propeller, hardware (prop shaft, bearing), vacuform clear canopy and windows, insignia (on the plans) and full size plans with building instructions. The model has not been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Guillow's founder, Paul K. Guillow, was a WWI naval aviator. In 1926 he began producing wooden model airplane kits. His 'Shelf Models' were some of the earlier non-flying models in production. Guillow's grew during the model boom of the 1930s, and when the Depression hit the hardest, Guillow's responded with lower prices and became one of the low price leaders, frequently advertising in Model Airplane News and other leading publications. During the war, like most manufacturers, Guillow's was forced to alternative materials such as cardboard and pine. Guillow's survived the post WWII slump by creating many inexpensive profile flying rubber powered aircraft and gliders in the 1950s (along with North Pacific) which became famous - some are still available today. The stick and tissue lines have been updated with laser cut parts and are still in production as of 2009.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG++
Very rare. This is the amazing GM Styling Show/Concept Car that led to the C3 Corvette in 1968. This was actually the second Mako Shark, the first being named XP-755 Mako Shark (I), which was reworked to make this car. Furthermore, this second Shark was then later modified to create the concept car Manta Ray. The model is very highly detailed for the late 1960s. It features rolling chassis build up just like the real car with complete suspension, independent rear axles, driveline, real metal coil springs, detailed steering, exhaust and more, 427 engine, forward-tilting hood, detailed interior, hinged roof and a 25 piece detailed travel trailer! The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. Please note that MPC did not provide decals with this kit.
