Wood Model Kit, Box Condition: Poor
NOTE: builder kit only; not collectible. Please read carefully. This 1962 model is a popular kit and an excellent flyer. The kit has not been started. It includes 'very good' decal sheet, 'excellent' full size plans (never used), formed wire landing gear, covering material, factory sealed bag of hardware, clear windshield material, pre-carved balsa lower cowling, balsa for sheeting and 6 balsa die-cut sheet (one not numbered, (2) numbered two, (1) numbered four, (1) numbered 5 and (1) numbered 6, as well as one die-cut plywood sheet. From these, I can see parts missing - specifically a few ribs and all the wing 'wing tip' end pieces, as well as a few straight (rectangular pieces). Other than some straight wood stock, that is all that is included. This kit is a 'project' and is incomplete. Sold as is.

Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good+
Very rare Japanese kit from the early 1960s. Oriental Mokei used this logo and an 'OM' logo as well. They issued this Nate, a 1/50 A-4A Skyhawk and at least one other kit - the 1/48 RAF SE-5A Scout. They obtained those molds (or copies) from Marusan. No other kits are known at this time. This is a nice kit for that time and is designed for motorized operation. As was the tradition, it includes all the motorizing hardware but not the actual motor. Kit features raised panel detail, movable rudder, elevators, wing flaps and ailerons, three piece canopy and has dual slipper drop tanks. Molded in dark green, ivory and clear. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.
Metal Model Kit, Box Condition: VG++
Brand new in the box. Purchased in the late 1950s or early 1960s by a US Navy Officer in Japan. He brought them home via the USS Saratoga but never used them. Includes the original box, "Pet OS 099" gas engine in the original factory plastic bag (never run), the original red anodized metal rear engine cover, original packing tissue paper, clear fuel tube and instruction/spec sheet. OS engines were made by Ogawa Model Mfg Company LTD in Osaka Japan. Many of the kits has a sticker on them that says "Tokyomokei Models Inc" with the address 1-5 Ginzahigashi, Tokyo Japan. I know this was a umbrella type organization that sold many brands of Japanese hobby kits; but it also may have been an actual store or warehouse too.
