Rare 1950s Cellovision issue with fantastic Ray Gaedke artwork. This hard-to-find, large model of this invasion craft measures roughly 20 inches long when assembled and is engineered and motorized for operation in water; includes the electric motor and has plenty of room inside for conversion to R/C operation (R/C equipment not included). The model features operating cranes, complete deck fittings, detailed superstructure, numerous LCVP craft with separately molded loading ramps and more. Never started and inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, instructions and motorizing parts present. The box displays better than the 'fair' grade but is rated as such because the kit has been opened exactly the way that Lindberg recommends - by cutting it open on the back along one long side and the two short sides. Believe it or not, I actually have Gaedke's original painting used for this box art. I obtained it and about 15 other box art painting from one of Lindberg's later owners in the 1980s.

1960 issue of the rare 'Whip Fly' series. The box top is in exceptional investment-grade 'near mint' condition. The hardbox artwork for this series was 'action' photos by Tom Kelly. Whip-Fly kits contain the aircraft model with nose ballast, a metal control ring, 12 feet of control line and a control handle so that you could spin the aircraft around in circles. Molded in gloss dark blue and clear. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The complete Whip-Fly series included the H151 F9F-8 Cougar, H152 F-84F, H153 F-89D Scorpion, H154 F8U-1 Crusader, H155 F-39 Airacobra and H156 F-101A Voodoo, Canberra, F-106 and Yak-25 Flashlight. The Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. Revell quickly realized that spinning heavily-ballasted, sharp objects at dizzying speeds near groups of children was not the best idea. The series was quickly discontinued.

Includes full underside and chassis detail, complete engine and engine compartment, opening hood, full interior and parts for the stock or highly customized version. It has been inventoried and includes all stock plastic parts, whitewall stickers and their special small instruction sheet and assembly instructions. NOTE: missing decals, custom hood and custom tonneau cover. Includes all other custom parts. NOTE this kit has minor and 'professional' assembly as listed: engine block, intake manifold, heads & valve covers, water pump, oil pan & starter built. There is no other assembly. There is a tiny burn on the dash (under/lower section), a small burn on one seat (side panel) and one seat lower front panel.

1960s T3 logo release. The Bristol 192 first flew in 1958 and was the first helicopter in the world with true twin-engine safety, meaning that it could fly home and land safely at any gross weight. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The SM-79 was considered an excellent aircraft and one of the best land based torpedo bombers of the war. Designed and serving as an airliner from 1934 onward, 100 were supplied to the Nationalist Air Force for the Spanish Civil War where they served as day and night bombers. The aircraft performed well in the Med and against Malta, sinking many allied ships.
