Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good
Dated 1974. In the 1960/70s Revell issued some amazingly well detailed 1/25 scale automotive models that were exhaustively researched from actual vehicles. The '30 Woody is one of those classic kits. It is molded in light wood tan and chrome with rubber tires and clear window material. The model builds up a rolling chassis just like the actual automobile. Features stock Model A engine, modified engine with custom speed equipment (chromed dual carbs, intake manifold, side valve cover, valve cover and headers), detailed suspension, spoke wheels, full engine compartment, hood that opens like the real car, complete interior and opening doors and tailgate. The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete with all parts and instructions. NOTE: two small parts are a different color plastic. They are from an earlier issue of this same kit.

Pocher made the finest automobile models ever created. The detail and working parts on these long out-of-production, big 1/8 scale kits is amazing. Recommended for experienced models only. This kit is a prefect reproduction of the original car that won 1st place at the 1907 Grand Prix de France with an average of 113.612 KPH with Felice Nazzaro as the pilot. The prototype of this car was used with the original drawings to create this model. It has 823 parts of plastic, brass, steel, leather, iron, rubber, copper, aluminum and other materials. Features include super detailed engine, opening hood, complete interior, all pilot controls, operating steering, working suspension, operating steel drive chains and more. The kit has never been started. Almost all the parts are still in the factory sealed bags; but several bags had torn open due to age. So I inventoried those bags and they are complete. I taped them shut for safe transport or put the parts in a new ziplock. Includes complete instructions and decals. Shipping insurance (and Express Mail for international customers) is required.

The Christie was the backbone of the American fire-fighting force prior to World War 1 - she was in service in just about every major city. Walter Christie, the designer, was a noted race car driver and the father of front wheel drive technology. This fire engine is actually a development of his turn of the century horse drawn steam pumpers. This model was developed from a fully restored Christie redone by Community Fire company No.1 of Wayne, NJ. This is a highly detailed model which is 1/12 scale and is over 19 inches long when assembled. Features display stand, moldings in red, black, grey and clear, brass and nickel plated parts, decals for all stripes and letting, over 330 parts, decals and full instructions. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Very rare kit from 1946. It appears that only one of these has traded hands in any public transaction since the late 1990s and the lack of photos is noteworthy. This was a very deluxe, expensive model for that time, retailing for an astounding $7.95. It is a very sturdy model with fully planked fuselage, sheeted wing, solid horizontal and vertical stabs, rudder and elevators, solid wing tips and more. Features a very large number of precut parts (some fully finished, others requiring additional trimming or sanding, rubber scale wheels with finished wood hubs, many plywood parts at key locations, quality planking and sheeting wood, clear windshield material, extensive hardware still in the wax paper bag, various sizes of wire stock, separate text building instructions and superb full size plans.
