Revell Martin PBM-5 Mariner - 'S' Issue, 1/112, H258-98

1957 'S' issue with fantastic artwork. The box has like-new gloss and color, with light edge wear as the only flaw. This is the first issue of the Revell PBM, and it is correctly molded in gloss Navy Blue and clear with a clear Revell 'Globe' stand. Very finely molded and an excellent for that time. Features rotating gun turrets, optional position port and starboard bomb bay doors and bomb load, rotating props and optional position crew entry doors. This kit has not been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Revell XSL-01 Manned Space Ship - 'S' Issue, 1/96, H1800-198

One of the 'Holy Grail' of 1950s Space Kits. 1957 first and only issue 'S' kit with the fantastic box art. Molds reportedly damaged beyond use, which makes reissues impossible. The spaceship was designed by the rocket scientist Ellwyn E. Angle of Systems Laboratories Inc. Features detailed manned top stage with full interior, removable top, opening hatch, spaceship and ground crew members and detailed working launch pad. The main stages and boosters snap apart to recreate all phases of the flight from Earth takeoff, Lunar Landing and Return to Earth. The included 'XSL-01 Operations Manual' outlines in words and illustrations each phase of the spaceship's trip. Molded in the correct gloss orange, silver, gloss metallic blue and clear. Never started. All internal factory cardboard presentation material is present and excellent. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Instructions and booklet are 'excellent' with typical yellowing as the only flaw. Decals are 'excellent' and flat with light yellowing. Box is graded 'very good' and displays well. Color and gloss are excellent. There is no fading or stains, and no price tags or tag marks. There is no tape or tape marks beyond the original factory sealing tape. Flaws include two perfectly repaired corners (all done correctly from the inside), light creasing as shown on the right center box top and creasing on the left long side. Shipping insurance is required on this kit.

First issue dated 1957 with dramatic box art. Very nicely detailed. Features very fine recessed and raised panel lines, full crew, three opening cockpit hatches, rotating wheels, 'The Pod' for weapons and fuel and highly detailed gear struts and braces. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Nicely done kit with finely engraved hull and one-piece deck with fittings, 35 billowing sails, one piece masts with separately molded yards, one piece rat lines, choice of simple or authentic riggings, display stand base, flag sheet, decals, tan and black rigging thread and more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Vacuform sails are 'excellent.'

Revell Airborne Marines Gift Set - A-4D Skyhawk and HRS-1 Helicopter, 1/48, G271-195

From 1956 - the first and only issue of this rare holiday season gift set. Contains the A-4D Skyhawk and HRS-1 both with US Marine markings. The box has excellent color and gloss, four solid corners and no tape, price tags, torn or missing litho. There is light wear and the typical 'cross hatch' marks from the original ribbon that Revell shipped these kits with. Inside, the HRS-1 is molded in the correct dark blue plastic and the famous clear Revell base and correct Marines decals for this this issue. The A-4 is molded in the correct medium gray with the clear base and correct and colorful Marines markings for this kit. The instructions are correct also and show these unique decals on the models. The kits have never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, including decals and instructions in excellent condition.

Hardbox issue dated 1956. Builds to a beautiful model. Like most early Revell sailing ship models, the molds were cut by true craftsman. The kit is beautifully molded in black, white and tan and has excellent detail and mold quality. Includes pre-formed ratlines, vacuform billowing sails, decals, flag sheet and full or simplified rigging instructions. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Revell The Mayflower - Pilgrims Ship from 1620, H327-300

Revell Stag Hound Clipper Ship, 1/216, H361

Very nicely detailed like all early Revell sailing ships. Full hull kit with premolded ratlines, optional sails and extensive rigging instructions. The kit has never been started. The parts are all still in the internal factory sealed bag. Includes instructions and vacuform sails in 'excellent' condition. The Stag Hound was designed by the famous Donald McKay and was launched on December 7, 1850. She is famous for her great speed and turned a nice profit for her owners. The most notable event was when the Stag Hound was asked to take a copy of President Lincoln's inaugural address to London. During this run, she raced the steamer 'America' and won easily. Shortly after this she was lost off Brazil to a spontaneous combustion of her coal cargo. The crew successfully abandoned ship. The captain was the last to leave. He lowered the American Flag, wrapped it around himself and jumped overboard.
