Features opening bomb bay doors with full bomb load, moving gun turrets, working rudder, elevator and ailerons, retracting landing gear, simulated spinning props (clear disks), custom decals, rotating wheels and four-bladed props and optional Hs 293 Guided Missiles. Never started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bag. NOTE: missing decals and instructions.

From quality Frog molds. This was part of a short-lived AMT marketing idea to market Frog kit in the USA. Box contains all three kits. Never started. FW-190 and D520 are still in factory sealed bags. The Tempest is missing one bomb fin and the pilot's seat. Decals are missing one 'red square' for the FW-190. I can't find it on the markings guide, so it is not used. Instructions are photocopied.

Dated 1935. Solid 8 inch wingspan wooden model kit with a metal propeller and shaped tail wheel. Includes full size plans with cut-out Pan Am markings, paint guide (a photo of the completed model), wood stock and a printed wood sheet. The box is in excellent shape, which is rare for these. The kit has never been started and is complete. Fred Megow was a famous pioneer in the model aircraft field from the late 1920s till 1949. His product lines of semi-prefabricated, solid and stick and tissue kits won him national and extensive world wide distribution - possibly the first modern model manufacture to achieve this. His fascinating story involves trying novel and untested marketing ideas in the Great Depression, followed my explosive world-wide growth. Mr. Megow was a true pioneer in the early days of modeling and a leader in the low price field so that every boy could afford a kit during those difficult times. Megow also produced scale operating train and trackside kits, ship models (large and small) and automotive subjects. Megow's catalogs claim that they were pioneers in HO scale, and there is documentation to support this fact. Megow's early HO train kits served not only to promote this now-popular scale nationally, but were among the very first train kits. Model train kits were responsible for the explosion in model railroad popularity in the late 1930s - please see the article in this website about these kits.

The trimming is not close and additional material has been very neatly kept all around every part. There has been no assembly and the kit is complete. NOTE: vacuform models, especially from Airmodel, are for experienced modelers only. You need to have significant scratch building skills and/or a well stocked spares box.

Has markings for Gabreski's F-86 from the famous Korean War dogfight of July 8th, 1951 or colorful markings for Arizona Air National Guard with a yellow dragon. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

This kit is from Airfix molds and is one of the MPC '3 Big Bonus' features series. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s issue from Airfix molds. Has parts and decals to make -3 or -5 versions. Well molded kit with all recessed detail. Features full interior with crew, optional position canopy, pivoting rear gun, working arresting hood and center line and wing bomb loads. The model features customizing parts (such as chrome plated bombs, missiles, prop, exhaust, air scoops, antenna and guns), stock and customizing decals and the clear modular display stand. Note that this issue still have 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models. This kit has never been started. It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Decals not furnished. Vacuform kits are only recommended for modelers who are experienced with this type of model. Special skills and scratch building experience are required.
