The famous Loening Company built the M8 as a the first military monoplane in the USA in 1918. Powered by a Wright Hisso 300 hp engine, the M8 set an altitude record of 21,000 ft in 1919. The design was promising, but the end of WWI brought and end to the contract, so the order for 5000 units was cancelled. Very high quality vac kit. Includes airfoil strut stock. Still sealed.

Please read carefully. 1965 issue. The first Aurora 727 release with American Airlines markings. Large near 1/100 scale kit with full landing gear, full color decals and clear triangle 'World' Aurora display stand. NOTE: this kit has not been assembled but has been painted. It would be advisable to strip the paint with DOT3 brake fluid or other safe stripper. The fuselage, wings, elevators, gear struts, engine pods etc. have been painted silver. The tires and jet exhaust have been painted black. The kit is 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The rudder on the left fuselage half has a roughly 15 degree warp outward. The rudder is still very flexible.

Very large (1/4 scale) and highly detailed kit. By far the finest working visible aircraft engine kit ever made. Comes with electric motor for operation. Transparent housings permit viewing the correctly working pistons, valves, rocker arms, connecting rods, cam and gears in action with synchronized firing of the spark plugs using red electric bulbs. Propeller also changes pitch. Kit is molded in clear, red, black, blue metallic and grey plastic. The box is in very good condition with nice gloss and color. Inside the kit is as new with all cardboard inserts, instructions, booklet on "The Aircraft Engine and How It Operates", small Renwal Catalog and Factory Guarantee sheet. The metal parts and bulbs are still in sealed in the original envelopes. Even the tube of Renwal Cement is in mint, never used condition. The kit has never started. The silver parts are still factory bag sealed. All other parts have been very carefully inventoried against the instructions and are 100% complete.
