1974 issue. Very large and highly detailed kit. Measures 36 inches long and 22 inches high when assembled. Kit features highly detailed deck, deck houses, cargo holds and covers, masts, yards and booms, bilge pump, windlass, 20 crew figure, and lifeboats with oars, life preservers, anchors and anchor chains. Includes draftline and transom decals, figurehead, finely detailed hull, preformed ratlines and molded deadeyes, pin rails and blocks, full standing and running rigging instructions and diagrams, flag sheet, 35 pre-formed vac billowing sails and thread and chain for rigging. Molded in three colors. The kit has never been started. The brown parts, rigging material and chains are still in the original factory sealed bags - all other parts have been inventoried complete including decals, flags, instructions, rat lines, rigging instructions and sails. Sails are in 'very good++' condition.

M&P stand for Dick Mathis' Design Group, which was out of Lone Oak Texas. The kit is from about 1976 and is a reproduction of the famous Quaker series adapted for Radio Control (rc). Includes die cut ribs and other parts, clear celluloid for the windshield and preformed metal landing gear. This model came from the estate of a very active and particular early aircraft kit collector. It is like factory-new inside and has not been started. Complete with all parts, plans and decals (if originally included). NOTE: this kit was factory packed in a rugged and sturdy box. The model will be shipped with this box only (no external box) unless you request otherwise.

Very large 1/6 scale kit with a 71 inch wingspan. Designed for RC (radio control). Features shock mounted wing panels, optional elevator trim, molded plastic cowl, full size plans with RC details, full decals, hardware, tapered trailing edges, dowels and wire, hardwood, die-cut celluloid, die cut hardwood and balsa and more. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Berkeley is a very famous manufacturer of flying model kits from the Golden Age of flying aviation, about 1932-1954. Founded in 1933 by William Effinger, the company was quite progressive in producing quality kits - it was likely the Berkeley 'Buccaneer' was the first gas powered model in kit form. In the later 1930s, Effinger acquired the services of a very talented Henry Struck. Struck went on to design numerous award-winning kits under the Berkeley name. Berkeley weathered the post WWII recession and emerged as a major kit producer in the late 1940 and 1950s. These were great years for Berkeley and they produced some incredible and large kits. The company went bankrupt in about 1960 however. Fox engines (Duke Fox) bought the company and released the kits alongside his own FOX models and engines. This arrangement did not last, and in the early 1960s the Berkeley name disappeared from hobby shop shelves.

Very rare near 1/350 scale large model of the greatest Ocean Liner in history. The Normandie represented the finest artistic achievement in ocean transportation, ranging from her fine lines, and uncluttered deck to her record speed and unequaled art-deco interior magnificence. This is still the largest and finest kit of the Normandie that has ever been made and dates from 1935. The Ideal Aeroplane & Supply Company kits were unsurpassed in detail and accessories for that time period. The model contains full size drawings (34" x 44"), assembly instructions, pre-carved balsa wood hull (ready to sand to final dimensions), many sheets of printed balsa wood details, dowels, split bamboo, cast metal life boats, stairways, life boat davits and other metal fittings, 1 printed fibre sheet, clear material for windows, colored flags, rigging material and rigging diagrams and more. The kit has never been started. Inside it is like new and even has the original packing pack paper. . All metal fittings are still in factory sealed bags. I believe that the first time the part were removed from the box was when I performed the inventory The kit is complete with all parts. This kit must be shipped insured.

Basic vacuform kit. The kit has not been started and is complete with all parts and instructions. Vacuform kits are not recommended for this without experience with this type of kit. The Taube was designed by Igo Etrich in 1910 in Austria. It was eventually built by several German aircraft companies and saw widespread service during WWI. For example, a Taube dropped bombs on Paris in August of 1915, with a note calling for the city to surrender. It was a Rumpler Taube that reported a Russian advance along the battle of Tannenberg in 1915, and a single Taube was operated from Tsingtao during the siege of that city by Anglo-Japanese forces from September to November of 1914.
