Plans are dated 1936 but the kit is from the mid 1940s. This kit is among the more detailed of Ideal's issues. Contains the 18 inch long Ideal 'Premolded Hull' which is a completely formed, hollow hull made from a wood composite. The hull is in excellent condition. Also includes full size plans/instructions with perspective and numerous detail sectional views, diagrams showing rigging details, metal fittings (propeller and anchors), die-cut davits, fibre card detail sheet, round stock for funnels, wood stock and dowels as required and four sheets of printwood. The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete with all parts and plans. The metal fittings bag is still factory sealed.

Very nice kit of a beautiful ship. Features a very nice precarved hardwood hull that needs final sanding only, a large number of metal and finished wooden fittings, full standing and running rigging material, wood stock as required and three pages of plans including full rigging diagrams, full size plans and hull profiles, detail drawings and more. The kit has never been started. Small parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and the other parts have been inventoried complete including instructions.

Bagged kit - no box. Measures approximately 14 inches long when built. Very nicely molded and detailed. All parts beside the hull are still sealed in the factory bags. Features completely pre-painted hull (above and below the waterline) , pre-molded ratlines, flag sheet and rigging thread. The factory paint is in two colors and the paint is in very good condition. The kit is molded in black, dark wood brown and tan. The kit has never been started and contains all parts, flags and thread but is missing the instructions. NOTE: a tip of the bow is broken off, but that tip is included and is a simple repair.

Mid 1940s release from the famous Ideal Aeroplane & Supply Company, which was founded in 1911. This is one of the most detailed of all Ideal kit in this size range. The kit features the Ideal 'Pre-Molded Hull' which is a completely finished hull from wood composites. The hull is in excellent condition with one 1 inch crack as the only flaw. The crack is stable. The kit includes three sheets of printwood, wooden stock as needed, metal stock as needed and a sealed bag with metal fittings and formed stack. With highly detailed full size plans and instructions. I have seen this kit built, and it is beautiful and highly detailed. Never started. 100% complete.

Perhaps one of the most popular large bomber action kits of the 1950s. 2nd issue hardbox with dramatic box art by Ray Gaedke. Inside, the kit is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Features complete crew, moveable control surfaces, rotating and elevating turrets/guns, retractable landing gear and clear adjustable display stand. NOTE: The kit has some assembly. The quality of the work is excellent (no gaps and little if any glue marks). The wing assembles are complete, the landing gear and control surfaces work perfectly. Engines and propellers have not been installed yet. The fuselage windows have been installed in addition to the bulkheads and floors. There has been no other assembly. Kit is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, clear stand, decals and instructions. Box top is good. Bottom box is all there but rough. Parts in in ziplock bags.

The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing one part, #77, a gun support. This part is hard or impossible to see once the kit is assembled.
