There are no decals; sometimes these kits did not come with decals and I am not sure if this one did or not. The Prince of Wales saw very active service in WWII from fighting the Bismarck with HMS Hood to Far East service with the HMS Repulse off the Malay peninsula. It was in this battle that both ships were sunk by Japanese airborne torpedo attack.

C-130K kit is well detailed with movable control surfaces, opening cargo bay, full interior bay and cockpit detail, external fuel tanks, large display stand and rotating props. All C-130 parts are internally sealed and molded in that unique 'light mustard-green' plastic. The Bloodhound is molded in gray (possibly from a newer issue) and has been inventoried complete. Complete with decals and correct instructions that have both models on it. NOTE: this box is a reproduction box. It is very well done and complete, showing the top and all four sides. The box tray (bottom) is original and 'good.'

Revell Air Power CBS Gift Set F-100C F-101A F-102 F-89D B-57B 'S' Issue, G240-495

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

$749

1956 first and only issue. This rare kit contains all five aircraft models. The box is in 'good' condition with very nice color and gloss, three solid corners (one a closed split) and significant litho damage to the right lower section as shown. The four box sides grade better at 'very good.' The tray (lower box) is 'good++' and all internal packing material is present as shown. It is very interesting that there is no damage from the ribbon that Revell wrapped these kits in. Almost all issues have that, but this one does not. Inside, the kit has the two factory dividers. All kits contain the famous Revell clear 'Globe' stand. The kits have never been started. Three of them are still factory sealed in the factory bags with the decals and instructions. The B-57 and F-102 bags was opened, but they have not been started and are inventoried 100% complete and correct with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: there is a molding flaw on the rudder of the B-57. The rudder is complete, but it looks like a rough ring in the plastic. Shipping insurance is required on this kit.

Berkeley Stinson SR-9C Reliant - For R/C or Free Flight, 1/12, 4-19

Wood Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good+

$169

Big scale model originally designed for gas powered free flight (.045 to .099) or control line (.099-.29), or can be converted to electric power and modern R/C (radio control). Features plastic cowl, decals, covering material, detailed, full size plans, formed wire main gear and tail wheel struts, die cut balsa and plywood parts, hardwood main and tail wheels and more. The model has not been started. The parts have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. Berkeley is a very famous manufacturer of flying model kits from the Golden Age of flying aviation, about 1932-1954. Founded in 1933 by William Effinger, the company was quite progressive in producing quality kits - it was likely the Berkeley 'Buccaneer' was the first gas powered model in kit form. In the later 1930s, Effinger acquired the services of a very talented Henry Struck. Struck went on to design numerous award-winning kits under the Berkeley name. Berkeley weathered the post WWII recession and emerged as a major kit producer in the late 1940 and 1950s. These were great years for Berkeley and they produced some incredible and large kits. The company went bankrupt in about 1960 however. Fox engines (Duke Fox) bought the company and released the kits alongside his own FOX models and engines. This arrangement did not last, and in the early 1960s the Berkeley name disappeared from hobby shop shelves.

Hawk Supermarine Swift, 1/72, 607

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good++

$24

Very cleanly molded kit that builds very nicely. The model has excellent fit and recessed and raised panel lines. Can be assembled with or without landing gear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Swift was a very early jet fighter to replace the Supermarine Attacker. A very capable aircraft, the Swift suffered numerous accidents early on. As a result, less than 200 were ever built and it did not see combat. It did hold a world speed record for a short time, only to have a Douglas Skyray take the record a few hours later. The problems were ironed out, but by then the Hawker Hunter was proving very capable and there was no need for the Swift and it's RAF service life was short. The most successful version was the PR variant.
